Racing the Planet

On Monday, I went to REI to see "Racing the Planet", a talk about medicine and ultra-endurance running by Dr. Brian Krabak, who was running the medical team for the Racing the Planet race series. Dmitri Kieffer and Roger Michel were also there to answer questions. Racing the Planet is a 5-day 150 mile staged race across the Gobi, Atacama or Sahara desert. These races pique my interest. I'll have to look into them sometime.
